When I first had my pouch surgery I almost wanted to have it reversed because of the burning skin around rectum. It was like having diaper rash. I tried dozens of cream , spent a fortune, the sales person whom works in the ostomy supply section of the drug store brought me in a lotion form coloplast ,Critic Aid Clear skin protection 71g tube. Come in a whited and pink tube. In Canada some shoppers drug mart that sell ostomy supplies carry it but I order online as I usually buy 12 tubes at a time and can get a better deal. I Use after every bowel movement. Life changer. I have had my pouch since 2007

Thank-you very much! How many bms do you have???
Debbie - I'm also a fan of that cream. The hospital gave me that cream right after takedown.
I was given Convatec Sensi Skin Barrier cream by the hospital, that saved me!!! I see there are a ton of options
