I'm pretty sure I read in some topic on here that someone was drinking lemon water to soothe the butt burn. It seems counter productive in my head so before I try it, I want to confirm that I did read it somewhere.

If this is the case, please help me. Need to know mixing ratio and I would assume you squeezed a fresh lemon?

Im 5 days post takedown. While today, the pressure I was experiencing seemed to be relieved, now I'm experiencing the worst burning sensation and I'm looking for any help.

Hello, Rzraz. I don't know if there is a standard ratio or recipe, but when I make a glass of lemon water I cut one wedge of fresh lemon and squeeze the juice into a glass of cold water. Yes, lemon is acidic, but in your system it becomes alkaline. Funny!  Sometimes I make a big pitcher of cold lemon water and squeeze the entire lemon. For a warm drink I boil water in a pot, add lemon slices, fresh mint leaves and 1/2 inch of grated ginger root. Raw honey too, if you like. Allow to cool to room temperature before pouring into a pitcher and enjoy all day.

For your burning skin, have you got Calmoseptine or Cavilon barrier cream? Get a bidet squeeze bottle that has the nozzle (or a bidet that attaches to your toilet with hot and cold water) and use after every BM, pat dry with toilet paper and apply Calmoseptine, or a simple baby diaper rash cream like Zincofax or something similar. Avoid toilet paper for initial wiping because that will irritate your raw skin and increase the burning. My first week or so I was fine and thought I escaped the burn that everyone posted about. Woke up around day 10 on fire. Learned lesson.

Hi,

I use a powdered lemon (TrueLemon) and mix it with about 3 tablespoons of water and drink it quickly. Be careful as the lemon is really hard on your teeth. Brush your teeth after or if unable rinse your mouth really well. When I have burny caustic poo this is my go to. Usually resolves the problem within an hour. It comes in packets so easy to carry with you.
