Seems as if I am having a lot of gas lately when I intubate. This happens when I am not eating gas producing foods like beans, raw vegetables, etc. Plus, I have no abdominal pain or bloating.

Could this be bacteria overgrowth? I take probiotics. I don't want to take any antibiotics. And I am not sure that would be called for anyway. If I have trapped gas - I chew a couple of Gas-X tablets.

Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I have found that sometimes when I am at the first stages of a stomach bug or flu I get lots of gas, cramping and/or bubbling around in there.
Could you have something brewing in there?
It could be SIBO (in which case you know the routine...Cut down on carbs/starches and sugars and increase the probiotics) or just a seasonal change in your diet? We don't eat the same from season to season and maybe your gut is telling you something???
Mine is a sort of barometer for seasons, weather and any changes in lifestyle or diet...
No fever? No bleeding? Any change in the colour of the output (green is usually a very bad sign and so is bubbles!).
You might want to check your temp for a couple of days too.

I meant Green-liquidy output...that is my 1st sign of pouch sickness no matter what else is wrong...
You know your body and pouch best...but cut down on the bad food and try to center on proteins, veggies and some easy to eat fruits...and start those probiotics...I take OTC, big box brand ones and they do the trick...never been so gas-free in my life...also, other than a couple of binges lateley (holidays) I have reduced the sugar greatly and avoid all of the white flour/potato/pasta/rice etc.
Almost no cake/pastries except for the occasional piece of chocolate of ice cream and even that is down 90%.
I've been making these homemade veggie soups that I purée and eat nightly, I use pumpkin & squash, zuccini and tomatoes to get most of my good veggies and add herbs, spices and whatever is sitting at the bottom or the fridge and then steam to death and blend.
They are filling and low in calorie but high in vits...They even let me sleep through the night...
Worth a try.
I never found gas-x to work that well on me but it is Worth a try....
