A couple of days after I went off FMLA, I got a new job description. Something impossible to achieve. I feel I’m being squeezed out.  This after 7 years with lots of nights and weekends.  I feel like crap all of the time and I’m a year away from Medicare. I feel like I have nothing to look forward to. I get a (worse) stomach ache even thinking about work. Lawyers cost money. Maybe I ask doc for 1 day on intermittent FMLA.  I could use that until I retire and I believe it gives me some protection.  I want to go to sleep and not wake up.

I agree with talk therapy... It has helped me immensely.  I stress about my job sometimes, too.  And you're right... It's not worth it.  Remember that you and your health are far more valuable than a job. 😊

Praying that you will find the right balance that will keep you healthy - both mentally and physically.
