Hi everyone- i'm new to this site, very new, just made my account today. I have my last surgery of three coming up on July 30th if my x-ray turns out okay so i've got a few questions!

Basically, i've had the removal of the colon, pouch being made, etc. all done in three steps. So my next step will be the reversal.

I'm 18, female, and soon to be a freshman in college (fall of 2015). I'll have three weeks to recover before I move two hours away from home into my college dorms.

What should I expect after surgery?

What foods do you think I should be eating when I am able to eat/the weeks following?

Do any of you have any special tips that I should know of?

I just want to be as prepared as possible, i've read almost everything on the internet about the reversal surgery and having a Jpouch and a lot of it was negative. So if any of you could give me advice and let me know the foods that work well for you that would be great. I just want my body to be as strong as possible because I am starting college. Thank you so much!

Also, if you or anyone you know is willing to donate ANYTHING to my gofundme, my story is in the link below. http://gofundme.com/yxn46ps

Thank you so so so much for any help and advice!! I am so nervous and could use all the advice I can get!
