Attractive way to introduce myself, right?
I had my surgery done on Dec. 2nd where they created a temp. loop ileostomy and a J pouch, and ever since then I've been passing clear or beige mucus with no smell (which from my understanding is completely normal).
A few days ago, after my surgeon did the digital exam to see if I was good to go on the x ray, I noticed that the color changed to a greenish-beige and there was an unpleasant odor. It's not a horrible, air out the bathroom smell, but I'm terrified there's something wrong.
I don't have any other symptoms and a week before this all started I had blood work and a CAT scan that came back normal so at that point there was nothing visible going on.
We have Feb. 19th scheduled for my take down (provided the x-ray goes well) and I'd hate to have to postpone it.
I was going to give it until Monday before I bothered anyone but I'm a worrier and I figured I'd ask if anyone else has heard of this.
