Anyone find that iv antibiotics work when oral did not? My son is in hospital for few days and on iv cipro and flagyl. Seems a bit better but taking them orally did not help much. We are still waiting for his first entyvio infusion but hopefully this can give him a boost in the meantime

I have not had IV antibiotics for pouchitis, but my son did for his first flare of pancolitis (Cipro and Flagyl) in addition to IV steroids. Put him into remission in a few days.
