I know mucous is normal but....

How come my first pouch I only had to release mucous every few days or so when not connected but my new redone pouch that was reconstructed in October has me on the toilet several times a day releasing mucous? I know mucous is normal but why so much this time? Its either clear or yellowish and never bloody. Anyone?

I've always been told that the mucus is a good thing. Means everything is working properly.
