has anyone taken humira as well as prednisone? I am on 15mg of pred. my GI wants me to come off it so we are trying humira next week I guess after a couple of weeks I'll try to decrease the pred and we will see if the humira is helping. I am worried about the effect it will have on my stomach I am presently on nexium as well as zantac and sulcrate for the constant indigestion really bad at night I am usually up around 3AM eating yogurt to try to dull the pain. I have had a scope it only showed a valve that did not open very well to empty my stomach so he dilated it and said that should take care of it. I wonder if the inflamation in my pouch as well as the inlet of my pouch is causing the pain in area of my sternum the biopsies did not show anything but the pain persists dispite the meds. The head of my bed is raised as well. It is very depressing. After going on the pred. I could eat which was great as I had been on fluids and meal replacement for the last year. Do you think one acid reducing med is better that the other? Thanks for all your feedback. I don't think it is caused by the pred. as i was having problems before I started it.
