At 1 month of age...first surgery at 2, colon resection ended in a colostomy for 1 yr. Then the fun began!

Diagnosed with UC: 24 years old

I have litterally never known life without my colostomy scar or life with a normal functioning colon...everyone's abnormal is my normal (yikes!)...the advantage is that I really do deal with disasters rather well...The disadvantage is that I always expect the worse...and usually get it...my life's lesson is enjoy life while you can, help everyone who needs it and especially those who don't ask for it...they are the ones who need it most...and there is always something wonderful waiting for you just around the corner.

UC symptoms begin at 7yr. (always had stomach aches, cramps etc. even before).
Bleeding at 12yr. UC official diagnosed a week later.
Ileostomy at 21.
Kock pouch at 22. Etc.
Chronic inflammation continued but all crohns tests neg. (but i have autoimmune issues)
Chronic gastritis and GI feels it's UC related.
