I have (finally) received a job offer. The job I was offered was in a clinic and did not note any lifting requirements in the description. When they scheduled me for the physical, they said to wear pants as I would need to lift 50 pounds in a crate in order to pass the physical I am sure that I will struggle to do this because of the open jpouch surgery, anything much over 25 pounds seems to give me problems. There is not much lifting on the job so I am not sure what to think. I did ask the recruiter what will happen if I can't lift the fifty pounds, and she said that would be up to the nurses who give me the test. Are there any disability coverages for this type of thing? I guess I am grasping at straws, I am so sick of trying so hard to live with this $^$#$%^ disease, I can not believe this will stop me from getting this job. This stupid disease has wrecked my life out too many times.
