This is a long shot... I had a hernia repair (incisional hernias) and DR repair. Because of the DR repair (no skin removal) my  skin has kind of folded in across my belly button from being pulled between my ostomy scar midline scar. Which is fine, whatever appearance wise, but it’s become uncomfortable when sitting. I also have an L shaped piece of mesh under the muscles to reinforce the hernia repair and prevent future. I have so much discomfort when sitting up. It’s like I can feel the mesh tack points and my stomach just feels so full and cramped- it’s hard to explain but it is incredibly uncomfortable sitting up right. Standing and laying are fine. Anyone else have any experience with mesh and had all the sensation overload settle down? I am almost 4 weeks out from my surgery. Want to get back to group settings, work but seriously cannot stand the sensation when sitting and it’s so distracting- hoping it’s temporary.
