I just got discharged but am still in terrible pain during BMs. They said they could divert me to allow it to heal but I really don't wanna go that route. Has anyone with a J Pouch been able to get rid of a large hemorrhoid? It's internal but then sticks back out to external when I go to the bathroom.
I feel like ive tried everything.

Surgeons seem to avoid hemorrhoid surgery for J-pouchers. Topical treatments may help, depending on what symptoms you're having. Are you sure it's a hemorrhoid and not a pouch prolapse?
Yes, I had my surgeon and another attending look at it along with a pouchoscopy. The hemorrhoid has a fissure adjacent to it which makes the pain worse. They were more concerned with the cuffitis but I don't seem to have pain from that.
