Hello,

Been a long while since I've been on this group! A few years!

After 15 years with my internal pouch I will be having it removed on 8th November, my bottom closed and permanent ileostomy made!

I have made the decision after having a rough time, been quite poorly since about May this year but on and off since my daughter was born in 2010 .... I just want a better quality of life for my daughter instead of mummy being to poorly to do anything.

I am so sorry that you j pouch adventure is ending this way...good luck with the surgery and I hope that you have a long and healthy life with your daughter.
