I started Ozempic 18 months ago, initially to lose weight, but the best part is that is has slowed my gastric emptying so much and I've lost 35 pounds.  I've had my J-pouch for over 30 years and have had a good experience but had major rapid transit and the frequency of going to the bathroom was always very high.   I would eat, and quickly empty, and rarely felt satiated or full....the medicine has decreased my appetite greatly so I am also making better choices.  The plan is to decrease it slowly to a much lower maintenance dose as I am very close to my goal weight.  Just curious if others have tried this?

That sounds amazing. What was the reason you were prescribed this? To slow down transit (this has become a major problem for me).
