I remember sitting in the hospital 9 yrs ago waiting for surgery. I had UC and no colon left. I was nine years to pension as a city police officer in a mid-sized Canadian city. J-Pouch was my only option. Well it worked. I applied for my pension and I still feel great. In nine years I only had about three obstructions and no other complications. I have been one of the luckey ones, but would not have gotten through without this sight. Thank you to all of you. I'm 51 and plan on living 40 more.. You can too.
