Hi Happy Canada Day to fellow Canadians and have a great 4th of July to all the USA members. I have a question I hope that Jan maybe able to answer I have the results of the last biopsies of my pouch the area at the inlet and about mid-line down. It shows ideopathic IBD. As well cronic inflamation inside the anus which is where I have a small fistula to the vagina which usually is not a problem. A few months ago the biopsy showed a small granuloma indicating Crohns would this mean the area the last biopsies came from have just not been inflamed enough to be seen as a granuloma? Am now on prednesone for at least 3 weeks to see if it helps the stricture at the inlet we are trying to determine if it is caused by scar tissue or inflamation. Methotrexate did nothing but give me on going indigestion am now on sucrate 4x/day 2 nexium and 4 zantac and still have issues I wonder if there is inflamation in that area as well although I have always had problems this has been much worse since the metho. I may ask the GI guy to have a look. Am waiting for an appt. with Dr. Cohen in TO probably not until Sept. All thoughts on this subject are welcome. Shawne
