Good Sunday all: Checking in to see how everyone is and let you all know I am still alive and well. I just had my follow up doc appt yesterday with the surgeon. It has been 6 months since takedown. He feels I am doing very well, but still have another good 6months of healing. He did give me an internal "finger" exam (ouch) but says he won't do a pouch scope until my year check up than goodness. I have come to the conclusion that most of my issues (lots of bathroom visits ) are work stress related. I have a weekend get away and for 2 days out of the week I am stress free and do great, so at least I know what the problem is. I hope to one day find a less stressful job but in the meantime I have my health insurance there but am on the lookout for something "less" stressful on the ole tummy. I do feel good however and look forward to being able to post nothing but positive things about my j-pouch surgery.

I joined a gym a few months ago and I found that just 1 hour a day there has helped me so much with stress and just makes me feel better overall.
