As many of you know, I had my K pouch surgery on June 19th, and went home 8 days later. Well, last Wednesday, I awoke at 1:30 am in the worst pain ever. My hubby called he ambulance, and I've been here ever since, but I'm finally well enough to go home! (turns out I had a wicked blockage). Yesterday, my wonderful stoma nurse Julie showed me how to empty my new pouch. They finally removed the constant drain, and cleaned the delicate skin around the stoma. Now that I know how to empty it, I'm ready to go home after spending 15 out of the past 21 days hospitalized! So far so good, got my appetite back, feeling stronger, and can't wait to get my life back, hanks, as always for all your love and suppor, it helps more then you know!
