anyone with gastritis find that it subsided after colectomy/ileostomy? a week or two after step 1 of 3 mine went away for a couple months til my remaining colon tissue started to flair (i'm told its called diversion colitis, crampy bms with mucus and little blood) then my gastritis came back. step 2 is this friday and i cant wait for the remaining tissue to be gone and see if the gastritis subsides again. its seems to me the colitis is the cause of my gastritis as it began with my first flair and was always worse when colitis was worse. any thoughts?
