No, this is not a joke.
I recently discovered Gaspaco, the cold vegetable soup...here they make it with either carrots (really good for thickening stool), cucumber (great for electrolytes and mineral salts) or red peppers (could not eat them since I got my pouch)...they are all mixed with tons of herbs, lemon and other goodies and since I started eating (drinking?) them my leg cramps are gone.
Being that it is summer and sweltering here I found it a great way to eat my summer veggies and not suffer the consequences.
Just a thought.

Great tip, Sharon! Many of us can't or don't eat raw veggies for the roughage factor, so this is a great way to get fresh summer vegetables without the consequences.

I actually love gaspacho; the version I'm used to has cucumbers, tomatoes and red peppers as well as cilantro. But, I did try a watermelon and cucumber tarragon soup a few years ago, which was delicious. I need to find the recipe.
