I have tried almost EVERYTHING! Beano! GasX, dairy free diet, gluten free diet, sugar free diet, stuffing myself, fasting, you name it! I cannot stop farting! If I am home I will pass SEVERE gas in excess of 50 times a day ( No, Seriously ) If I am not at home I suffer from TREMENDOUS pains! I suffered from these pains for 7 months until I finally realized it was gas pains and taught myself how to fart again (by laying down on my stomach and pushing softly, hot baths REALLY help ). If am in public I get relief by going down on all fours in a public restroom ( ew! germs! ) & letting it rip! If I am in the car I will turn around and put the seat back and let it rip! Luckily my friends are so used to it now that they just laugh along with me! I know some of y'all let it build up in your pouch to help push the stool out however I just cannot take the pains! HOW DO I STOP THE GAS! I have tried ginger tea, peppermint tea, literally everything I can think of! I have been told that once your intestines are operated on they become irritated for years and years and gas is a common side effect that tends to be a life long issue. GasX seems to make it worse! This gas is really keeping me from living my life! The antibiotics they gave me for Pouchitis/SIBO only made things worse! The VSL#3 probiotic also gives me gas! Everything gives me gas! I am somewhat active and walk around as much as I can to keep things moving and keep from gas building up!

Pepto Bismol is an ages old, go to remedy for gas.  All the remedies you listed are total lightweight treatments compared to PB.  PB is also well known as a treatment for pouchitis, used by many J Pouchers when antibotics treatment lose effectiveness or need to be changed.

PB is a powerful antibactericidal.  The operative ingredient is bismuth salicylate.  It is toxic to gastrointestinal bacteria that (a) causes gas, and (b) causes irritation in the small bowel.  It can also be toxic to your liver if taken in excessive dosages, so stick to the under on the maximum recommended dosage.

The only reason it's not more popular, in my opinion, is because it has a chalky taste and chalky/gooey texture.  I actually do not mind the taste or the texture, but even if you do, 15 ml is not a lot to ask someone to swig.  It's not terribly constructive for problem solving to choose treatments based on how they taste rather than how they work, in any event.  In my case PB shuts down gas and shuts down irritation, very effectively.
