So I recently went to a nutritionist because
1. I am still carrying around my prednisone weight (seriously, it's been two years)
and 2 I have A LOT of gas

She suggested fodmap, but a modified version. Well I'm the type of person that either has to do it hard core all the way ... Or won't do it all. I found this out with the SCD in my pre surgery UC days.

I've done a ton of research and prep over the last week, including buying the book (liz11 suggests, ps great name!) and also making an appointment with Kate Scarlatta, the fodmap expert in my area (march)

Since I started Monday, I've seen a ton of improvement in my gas problem. What I've noticed thus far, and my main question for you guys, how do you keep up with drinking? Ive never been a big water drinker, ok I'll just say it, I HATE water. Normally, I enjoying drinking flavored seltzer water, with my grape juice (stuck in SCD mode). On this diet, I've found the grapefruit juice and OJ are just as enjoyable splashed in seltzer. However, according to this elimination diet, I can only have the BOLD items once every 2-3 hours. The allotted 1/3 cup of juice is not covering my need to drink 2-3 liters a day.

Are there any other elimination phase allowed things to drink to keep up? For now, I've been drinking tea in between.
