First bout of Pouchitis

So I am 2 weeks postpartum and am fighting my first bout of pouchitis. My surgeon called in a script for cipro so hopefully this will help clear it up. He also wants me to take VSL #3 however as I am not working, and not making money right now, I cannot afford to purchase this item. Does anyone have a probiotic they swear by that I might try? I have used VSL #3 in the past however don't feel it really did anything. Please let me know what you take! Thanks guys!

I cannot "swear" by Align, but I noticed a significant improvement with thickening of stool and lessening of night time leakage after about 4 weeks of Align.

Align costs about $1 per day. I just bought a package of 42 capsules for $37.99 on Drugstore.com.
