Its been awhile since I've posted. But this is whats going on now. On January 18th I had to call 911 to get transported to the hospital. By the time the ambulance got to me I was almost passed out on my front porch. I had 5 separate bowel obstructions due to adhesions! I had the NG tube from the night of the 18th to late night on the 19th. I woke up puking up foam regardless of the NG tube. If you've had that combo you know how horrible it is. I begged the nurse to take the tube out since I was now puking anyways (I've spent 3 weeks with the NG and no benefits before. Still had to get opened again. So it leaves a bad taste in my mouth) On the 20th I went in for yet another abdominal surgery. They went in through the same site they always do. This is the 4th time that spot has been opened. I also have a ostomy scar about a inch and a half under my belly button. That scar now runs into my scar running down my abdomen. I was also glued this time instead of stapled. Since I got home the majority of my pain has been between my belly button and my ostomy scar, but I was still on pain meds. So it was manageable and I was really doing absolutely nothing. So that helped too. Now I'm 100% off my pain meds and this pain between my belly button and ostomy scar is unbearable! !!! I have tried taking over the counter meds. But zero relief. It's the worst when I eat and I called the doctor because of that and he just told me to eat some tums and see if that helps. It does not. And now its to the point where getting off the couch sets it off. I haven't been able to observe any bulging but that area is definitely harder than the rest of my abdomen. At this point I dont know if I should call the doctor back for the 2nd time, go back to the ER, call my GP or my GI? Ive also been running a slight fever which could be something or nothing. I've found some info on incisional hernias but I have no bulging. The traditional laughing, coughing and sneezing are almost killing me still! But only in that spot and it seems to just be getting worse. Please keep in mind my surgery was over a month ago and I have never had any incision issues for this long. Have any of you experienced this and if so what was your diagnosis?  I would be more inclined to believe its just the incision healing if it was the whole scar. But it's not and that scares me a bit. Ive had obstructions immediately after surgeries before. Anything helps. Thanks.
