I tend to be very cautious about most fruit skins so, for example, I eat peaches, pears, apples, apricots and cherries and grapes but I carefully peel off all the skin. I know I am sometimes too fearful about taxing the pouch and my digestive processes, so I wonder what other folks do In terms of fruit in their diets? I would like to eat more fruit skins, perhaps cut up fine, and well chewed, as many of the core nutrients are in the skins. Also, do people avoid strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and other berries because of the little seeds? And watermelon (even seedless ones have quite a few little seed)?? What has been people's experience eating all of these glorious fruits? Your knowledge and experience would be appreciated.

In my case I already tried pear organic skins and didn't notice problems; perhaps you should avoid them only if you have bad diarrhea or frequency, if things are well established, I think some whole skin (on empty stomach if you can, as fructose create more gas after meals) can make you better...
the pouch mucosa is from healthy small intestine, so I don't think it's right to get the uc diet anymore... and noticed many people on boards confirm this can be an healthy choice.
I eat all veggies and fruits. The only thing I have noticed is that watermelon "clogs" me up and makes it very difficult to empty. It's like me taking Imodium which I never take because then I can't go. I never peel anything. So far, no issues. I ate a huge portabelo mushroom last night at dinner and that will probably to the same thing to me (the clogged feeling) but I still enjoy eating them.
