Someone had mentioned in a post that they heard Dr Remzi was leaving the Cleveland Clinic? I emailed his office since he is my surgeon, and response back was that it was nothing they can talk about right now, with a frown face emoji.. That would be horrible..

Pouch, I said that may have heard, nit that he was. Please don't get this rumor started! I thought I heard something, but I believe it's just a rumor. If I find out more, I will let everyone know.

If it wasn't true his office would have just said so, but since they said they cannot discuss it at this time, means something is up. where theres smoke theres fire.
Well I called last week to make an appointment and they told me that he was now 'in charge' of his own schedule and that he's pushing patients over to his assistant Dr. Ashburn. Not sure exactly what that means but I wasn't able to make an appointment with him.
That's weird. Wonder what that means? I hope Shen isn't going anywhere too

It was mentioned, in some ones post so many years ago. It was one of her surgical doctors at Cleveland and I'm almost sure that was the name, I could have the name wrong.
I think that was probably Dr. Fazio, who died last year.

Dr Shen emailed me and stated he was not going anywhere and that nobody else wants him. Lol. I love that guy.

The shakeup at CCF continues, I just learned that Shen's nurse Geeta has moved to a different dept. that sucks, I liked her. Still wish I knew what was up with Remzi..
He is leaving. very sad about this.

How were you informed Poucho?
I'm very sorry to hear this. I just had surgery with Dr. Remzi on April 4 to reverse back to the ostomy bag. I'm scheduled to go back next Wed., July 6 to see his nurse and the ostomy nurses. His nurse and secretary didn't say anything when I spoke to them yesterday. I don't know if it's worth traveling back there if he's not going to be there anymore.
