Hello! I have a question that I havent been able to find an answer, im currently on stage 2 of a 3 step jpouch surgery, I was out of the hospital after a week of ouch creation, surgery went great, I was walking around after 3 days, some mild abdominal pain but phisically im great. My problem is that the output of this loop ileo is very liquid, that is normal i know, and it should get more firm with time.
My question is: will the output get back to this liquid state after i get surgery #3 in a couple of months?
I am not aware of why after surgeries the intestine goes back to liquid output wen it had already getting used to absorbing water and stuff. I had my end ileostomy for about 6 months and with some lomotil it was not liquid at all.
I was in such a horrible state on surgery #1 i dont even remember the output process, but now I feel great except this liquid output is driving me crazy, I do take metamucil and loperamide but it barely helps
