Has anyone used DMSO to treat strictures and/or adhesions? If so, how did it work? Sounds like some sort of miracle treatment. Thanks to all who reply.
what is DMSO?
DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide. It's a solvent quickly absorbed through skin (along with whatever other crap is on your skin). It would never be used, I think, for post-surgical adhesions in the abdomen, though it might be used by some on the other sort of fascia "adhesions" non-surgeons sometimes talk about. It certainly can work as a local pain killer, but there are plenty of issues (and drug interactions) with it. I'd be astonished if it did anything for strictures.
