On vacation and have been having liquid orange stools. Very acid which is not usual. No other symtoms...feel fine otherwise. Immodium does not seem to be helping but I am only taking a small amount maybe twice a day (concerned about obstructing) I have not been eating three meals a day and I do not feel a real urgency. Any ideas?

You mention you are travelling; just a stab, but depending where you are, could this possibly be traveler's diarrhea? Something to rule out. You also mention you are not eating 3 meals. I know that for myself, skipping meals sometimes causes a more acidic, watery stool. That said, traveling in general can cause all sorts of stomach upset: time changes/jet lag, consistently eating different foods, skipping meals or eating at different times, change of routine, stress of flying, etc, etc, can all contribute to digestion problems. If possible, try upping your probiotics. Also increase your fluids and electrolytes, since you are having consistently watery stools. As a precaution, it may be worthwhile to research nearby walk-in clinics or urgent care centres. If the symptoms don't pass in another 24 hours, you may want to have it looked into.
