Hi everyone.  I am recovering from Covid19 and I have been coughing so much!!!  At one point I was coughing and I began to feel pain in the area of my j-pouch.  That pain got worse until now I grab my lower stomach on the left side to try to minimize the pain when I cough.  There is some discomfort now when sitting and moving around but the intensity goes way up when I cough.  I can still empty the pouch as per usual.

Anyone had this happen before and was there anything to be concerned about?

Yes not from CV tho…… I just had norovirus and I am kinda freaking out a bit bc of all the puking and other way has caused a ton of pain in my entire abdominals. I feel like where my colon used to be is constantly cramping but I don’t have my colon there. I’m out 9 years and have never had this happen to me. I was also super scared to puke up fiber I had taken thinking it was going to somehow get stuck trying to come out due to the fact I take large amounts of it still every meal. Thankful everything came up but this crazy painful cramping is no good. I think for me it’s a neurological issue. With my brain telling my body to cramp in my colon area when it’s not there! I feel like my body is trying to empty something that isn’t there anymore it’s crazy
