In March I was feeling very stiff and achy (and old) and my skin didn't look as young (I'm 54).  I was so disheartened that I bought powder collagen on Amazon.  Turns out the muscle soreness and stiffness was from Covid, lol.  Anyway, I continued to use it.  About a month in I noticed a significant change in how my J-Pouch felt.  I didn't have the pressure and urgency that I experienced before.  This has been amazing.  I recently took a vacation (felt a little better about going away since we had the antibodies so don't judge) and it was so much different.  We went on two 4-1/2 hour boat trips and long bike rides without worry.  I don't know if it would help anyone else, but I thought I'd pass it on.  Also, my eyelashes and skin look better!

Loperamide--I still take 1 a day in the morning.  Is this safe to take for the rest of our lives?

I am using Vital Proteins.  I get it at Costco but it looks like you can also order it online.  Did you hear it helps with pouch issues?  I had never heard that, and like I said, was using it for something else and it appears to be helping.  I feel like most of the change is how my rectum feels.  I just don't feel that urgency like I used to. Today I was walking and I felt like I had to go and I waited for another 45 minutes and could have waited longer.
