lately (past few months) I've been having episodic completely clear liquid output. It usually happens after some more "normal" poop comes out. My g.i. doc scoped me and saw something which may be a fissure (in a spot I often get fissures) or could maybe be a fistula. She is worried about a fistula to the bladder and wants me to have a surgeon put me under a general and take a better look at the pouch.
Any ideas about this? Have others had clear liquid output? If yes, how do you stop it? Can you detect a fistula with imaging instead of going under anesthesia?
