hello

My name is Jack I am 28 years old. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis when I was 17 during senior year of high school. I was a straight A student with dreams of one day becoming a Doctor. During my senior year all my grades dropped to D's and F's because I couldn't attend class with out having debilitating pain. I dropped out of school and the next 3 years I was diagnosed, treated(nothing worked) and finally gave in and had surgery(best decision I have ever made). At the age of 22 I was finally through with all my surgeries. During high school I was very social and popular, I was also very mature for my age. After I was finally finished healing I realized all of my friends had matured and since I had no life out side the hospital mentally I was still 17. It took me another 2 years to mentally mature and catch up to people my age. I started working and attending school but I wasn't able to get the guidance I need to make well thought out decisions. So I dropped out of school again and decided to open my own business in wholesale distribution. During this time I made good money but it wasn't my passion. A recent falling out with my business partner finally lead me to this road, I want to go back to school and become a physical therapist. So I'm here because none of the councilors I have spoken to give me any information that can be useful to me. All I've been getting are websites they hand to me and tell me go do your research. So I am here to get guidance from the one place that helped me make the best decision of my life 11 years ago, this forum and all the caring individuals associated. I want to become a PT but I never received my bachelors degree. I know there are private schools that offer bachelors then doctorate in PT. This is the course I am interested in if anyone can provide me with more info I would gladly appreciate it. Also from what I've seen I have most of the prerequisites.

Thank You
