Calmoseptine is still with us

I haven't had my takedown yet, but I had it prescribed for something else. Great product! I'm sure it will come in handy when I have my new pouch!

Its 5 weeks since my takedown and I've probably used my weight worth of calmoseptine in that time. I found out about that product on this website.

I would suggest their on-going support is a worthy investment for them.

I have tried everything and it works so much better for me. Also desitin has some cancer associates ingredients in it, parabens type. I always have it in my purse and unfortunately go through 3 tubes a week.

Calmoseptine was a must for me the first few years with my pouch. I still keep some on hand. If you have not tried it, click on the link and give it a try. It worked for me when nothing else would

Am I the only one who did not like this stuff at all??? I think it burned my butt more and a pain to get it off!!!! I have 2 containers of it. Maybe I am doing something wrong when I put it on. LOL

I was finally prescribed lidocaine 5% ointment. I love it!!!!

I found it too strong for me, too, but most folks seem to like it, and I'm grateful to them for the sponsorship.

I have never used it, but I am wondering whether it is effective in treating garden variety skin issues? In particular, I seem to have an area above my lip that suffered an apparent allergic reaction to a henna hair dye mixture, which has manifested as a swollen, reddish sore above my lip. Will it help, or should I stick to vaseline? Using vaseline as a barrier in the 1st place probably would have prevented the reaction, but it is the first time it has happened, and I know what I did wrong.

I love the stuff. My surgeon saw some stuff a GI prescribed me that had lidocane in it and she told me to throw it out. She said that it can cause incontinence because it numbs everything. I don't know if that's true, but I stopped using it.

I would love it if Calmoseptine was sold at CVS, too, and if they would sell a travel size tube.

Calmoseptine has made my life infinitely better! I am on my feet quite a bit for my job, I walk a lot and my hobby is working on cars. I could do none of this without severe butt burn due to slight leakage during any of these activities.

I love it! It is wonderful! When I went to my local Shopper's and they didn't have it I asked them to order it in for me! A travel size tube would be wonderful wouldn't it!

I second the travel size Calmoseptine suggestion! I would love that.

Roberta, how are you doing?

I had to get my Shopper's Drug Mart to order it in for me so I got two tubes. Gosh…a little bit goes a long way. I too would like a travel size tube.
I find that the menthol burns my butt a little bit. It feels quite warm, like Vick's Vapo-rub on my bottom. It does protect my skin very well though if I can stand the heat.
