Wondering what info anyone has regarding calcium supplements.  I pooped out what looked to be a whole supplement tablet.  So I have been researching if they are not agreeable to a pouch.  Just curious because I have had what I thought was pouchitis that would not go away, now I am wondering if it is the calcium.  I also have issues with feeling like there is something blocking the exit and I wonder if it has been the pills.  I am going to stop the supplement so I will know for sure if that is the cause, but wanted to know if anyone else has issues, and what do you take (entering menopause).

There are also liquid calcium supplements available. Try Whole Foods; they always carry choices in drops, chewies, liquids. I've seen chewables at Costco. I've had medicines come out whole if it's in slow-release formula and I had to switch to quick dissolve so I could benefit from it. Something to remember if your doctor prescribes slow release meds for you.
