Have active pouchitis on top and bottom of the pouch. Even after taking meds. I think my GI wants me to go back to ostomy when I go for exploratory next week for this possible adhesion situation. Seeing someone else in her office next week for another opinion as she thinks I have two issues going on. Adhesions and a dysfunctional pouch due to chronic pouchitis. Oy, my heart is racing as I type this. I just want my life back.

I am so sorry Ally,

Take it slowa , think things out and decide what is the best thing for you and your life...if the ostomy is a temp and will allow your pouch to rest up and heal then it is worth the try...You really do need to get that life of yours back on track and this may well be the only solution.

Hang in there and stay positive...prayers and hugs for a real long-term solution.

Sharon
