I noticed I got terrible gas pains and went to the bathroom more then ever the entire day and night. I have tried so many cold cereal and enjoy it so much but just cannot find one that agrees with my J pouch or my IBS, have tried so many that so many nice people have suggested, but unable to find one that actually agrees with me.  Would like gluten free, love corn flakes but think I eat so much starch, its not a good idea.

Hello, Mikeey

What about a cereal that is more fibrous and less sugar / starch. Something like Weetabix with almond milk or soy milk?  We eat a cereal by Kashi called Cinnamon Harvest. I have a box of it and it says, "Organic Whole Wheat Biscuits Baked with Sweet Cinnamon", the biscuits are the size of a dice, maybe bigger. It's says 28 biscuits (that is a lot of biscuits! I have maybe 10 biscuits) contains 200 calories and 1gr of fat. Potassium 170mg. Carbs are 43gr but subtract the fiber (6gr) and you are back down to 37gr of carbs. No preservatives or artificial sweeteners. It's organic whole grain wheat, organic evaporated cane juice, organic cinnamon. And it tastes good, especially with almond milk! I'm sorry to go on about grams. I'm diabetic and I was taught by my endocrinologist to read labels to control my food and blood sugars. I don't need meds for my diabetes. I think it helps my pouch too.
