Hope everyone is doing well. When I had UC I really started to have horrible skin. Now with the jpouch at 10 weeks out it seems to be getting worse. Have any of you also have really bad issues with skin? I was diagnosed with granuloma annulare, which is a non contagious skin type of rash that affects the forearms, inner bicep and inner thigh by the knee. It looks like hell. I was curious if any of you deal with this? I know it's an auto immune disorder and is nearly impossible to treat. Never thought I'd get through all that UC and then the surgeries and all that for the jpouch that went pretty well and now I'm worrying about this. LOL

For me, I had a similar skin condition - little bumps all over my hands that would burst, dry out, repeat.  I went to doctors, got salves, creams, spent $$$,  . .in the end, my issue was over consumption of junk food.

When COVID lockdowns hit, my nightly routine changed.  Once I stopped eating potato chips, soda, and a candy bar (or 2) every night, my skin issues all resolved.

Your mileage might vary.
