Hey guys, I'm new here and just wanted to get some advice from you guys and to see if anyone has had a similar situation. To start off, I'm only 20 years old and about a month ago I felt a bump growing near my ..hole... Anyways, it didn't hurt for about a week then one day it hit me like a truck and I literally could not move an inch. I was finally able to get up and check and when I looked, you literally couldn't see a thing. It wasn't red or anything, you could only tell it was swollen by touching it. I went to the hospital at night and I was told I had an abscess and it had to be drained (worst experience of my life).

Now, about a month later, that colorless bump has reappeared, except there's something strange about it this time. It started last Thursday/Friday and it was hurting but only a little bit, just how it started off last time. On Saturday, it was still only hurting a little bit, but I decided I would go to the hospital at night and have it drained again. Saturday night came and I changed my mind because I didn't want to go through that experience again. Then on Sunday, the pain completely went away. Today is Wednesday and I still have the colorless bump but I can't feel it at all, no pain at all.

Has anyone experienced having this bump but with no pain? I couldn't find anyone else in a similar situation as me. I really do not have any interest in going to the hospital again so I'm hoping it'll go away.

Two things I think I should mention;

1) I was no given pain killers after the first drain so I haven't been on any medication and the first hole healed fine in about a week.

2) I noticed the pain of this new bump go right away after I received some news about something which really took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Could the stress relief have been a reason for the pain going away?

Sorry for typing so much, thanks for reading!
