I don't even know if I am spelling this right... I had this test today they tested the nerves with sensors had me squeeze and relax then put a balloon in and filled up with water. They say I have a fissure and also a "saw tooth" irregularity. I'm starting on nitroglycerin gel and wanted to know if anyone else is dealing with this and if so what is their experience? This is new on top of my chronic pouchitis I had no idea there couldbe more issues!

I think I had the same test. It was an easy test for me but now I see what they can tell from it - other than testing the spinchter muscles control capabilities. I hope the nitroglycerin helps. I'm assuming you use it topically but do you insert it?. How do you use it? I've heard of some people that have had botox injections and wonder if the treatments are similar.
