Amox-clav 875 mg 2x day for pouchitis

Has anyone taken this medicine for pouchitis bad had success. I’m on day four and since day two I feel like my stomach is hooked up to tens units and knots in my abs very painful. Since just I have completed three courses of Cipro and each time Cipro worked awesome. Not sure why GI switched this. Thanks for info will be emailing gi justwanted to see some opinions before formulating the email.

Augmentin can definitely cause belly pain. It didn’t work for me, either, but it’s good to know what your options are, and the main way to find them out is by trying things.
