Above normal creatinine levels

Hello, I was wondering if anyone experienced higher than normal creatinine levels after having jpouch surgery. I'm 25 yrs post op and it's been 1.3 to 1.5 mg/dl the past few years. I was referred to nephrology and I am wondering if it's due to low fluid absorption and not enough fluid passing through the kidneys. Also I do not take any meds.

25 years post-op is long enough that this probably has nothing to do with your pouch. You might just need to get more fluid absorbed (either more water or a hydration solution). If your creatinine has been stable for a few years it’s unlikely to be much of a problem for you, but it couldn’t hurt to get some advice from the experts.
