unfortunately I've determined its a hernia I suspect developed as a result of the swelling from a post surgical infection in January. Every time I approached my surgeon with "this doesn't seem to be normal" I was told not to worry and continued to work out as if nothing was wrong. Now I'm laying off, meeting with a couple of hernia specialists, and plan to get it repaired with yet another surgery, so I can get on with my life.
Bummer, Paul. I just read your blog and am sorry you're going through one thing after another of late. Hopefully this hernia repair will get you back in the saddle again soon. In the meanwhile, take it easy! P.S. What is it with these surgeons? I had the same issues with my original surgeon ...
