Sounds like me 3 days ago.

Started with sharp pain, then cramps then water and vomitting for 2 days...high fever and chills.

I thought that it was an occlusion (could still be part of the problem) but from what I hear I am not alone and I suspect that there is a nasty stomach bug making the rounds.

Keep hydrated if you can keep anything down at all. I used juice (pomegranite or apple) diluted with water on ice.

Gravol helped me a lot. If you cannot keep anything down there are chewables or disolvables under the tounge...I took a shot and it slowed down my system a bit and knocked me out. (a good thing)

A Heating pad helped me to relax and sleep a bit. Behind the back and on the stomach. Anywhere it hurt I used the heating pad.

The only real advice that I would give is that more than 24hrs without  being able to keep anything down and you risk serious dehydration...so head for an ER or urgent care for I.V. fluids. Dehydration is very serious and can be dangerous. Do not take it lightly.

When I could finally swallow meds I took tylenol for the pain (felt like a bulldozer flattened me).

Good luck and keep us posted.

Sharon
