Yes ,  had my J Pouch completed 9 months ago .  Long time IBD patient . About 6 yrs my left eye started acting up .  Despite a good deal of treatment the eye has suffered a lot of degradation and my sight in the eye is pretty poor . I’m seeing a specialist in Ocular inflamation in Ft Lauderdale FL and he has helped .  I have inflammatory debris blocking my vision and unfortunately Laser won’t help .  They are saying conventional surgery is not worth the risk .   I didn’t always maintain the follow up appo8ntments I should have .  I’d probably a little better off if I had been more diligent .   Follow up , seek the very best specialists and do your homework to save your vision .   When I got back to treating the eye a few months ago I didn’t even realize that though the front of the eye looked good , the back of it was highly inflamed .  So involved with my IBD that I wasn’t getting regular check ups on my eye .

oh sorry to hear that this came on me so sudden last week it wasn't that bad to start with as I had been to optician as my was twitching and was abit red I then went to my gp as had severe headaches then over the weekend the headaches got worse I then took myself back to optician he said the eye was abit inflamed told me to go back in 2 weeks the day after I went to optician I then took myself to emergency dept at hospital to get another opinion they then made an emergency appointment for the day after to the hospital that deals with the eye I was diagnosed with uveitis but not sure if fap would have any connection with it but maybe having the pouch would due to it becoming inflamed?
