Is it normal for a person with FAP to have blood in their stool?

Gross details I know i am sorry but I have FAP, and I have not got my surgery yet. It happens occasionally and it never really concerned me but it’s happened twice in two days and these two tones it’s been enough blood that it’s not only very visible in the toilet but also on the paper when wiped. My specialist is VERY hard to get in contact with so I am just wondering if o should be genuinely concerned about this because I will go to the hospital if it is something that could be urgent.

😩😩😩😩

Significant blood in my stool was what led to diagnosis of FAP following a colonoscopy.  Although there were hundreds of polyps, none had become malignant.  While your situation is not an emergency per se, you need to have surgery before one or more of the polyps becomes malignant. Keep trying to contact your doctor and select a surgeon who has done many of the procedures that you select.
