Yes i had prolapsed pouch. I was not able to empty it. I would have to sit on the potty with the sits bath with warm water to evacuate a little at  time.I went for surgery to have it stapled up.  Because of my asthma i had to have a spinal block. It was not a big deal as far as the procedure just embarrassing to be in the position .I would think that is how they would have to take care of your bladder. I don't think they would have to cut you. Good luck. Hope all goes well. Ps  I have had my pouch for 34 years.
