judt got diagnosed with cuffitis. In the hospital waiting for the doctor to come tell me what other findings were dealing with and hopefully to switch me back to regular diet.

I've never had cuffitis and my cuff, I was told, is very small in the first place, but can anyone tell me anything or cuffitis or what I mean be in for?

I have had cuffitis  since my pouch was created. I bleed sometimes but it's  pretty much controlled with cipro.  I've been on cipro and flagyl  for 7years. I've  tried suppositories, foams, steroids, enemas, and they didn't  work. So now I am on entyvio and lomotil. I have frequency  and urgency.  I go ten times in a day. I am going to have pouch advancement  surgery.  My cuff is only 2centimeters  but is covered in ulcers. I saw it myself, I always stay awake during my sigmoidoscopy. It can get very painful so I  also take Tylenol three  when it flares. I always have a rash so I  use calmoseptine and wipes. Hope this helps

DDS..I am sorry to hear of your problem. I can relate. When are you having your surgey? I am looking into the same surgery. Cipro seems to help my cuff issues also and my fissures which have been caused by my narrowed anastomosis but I am scared to stay on it long term. Wishing you the best of luck with your procedure.
