Bleeding from pouch

Hi i have had my j pouch for over 4 years now, i have had a few episodes of pouchitis... But this weekend i have been bleeding from my pouch and have clear mucus and really bad stomach pains ... any 1 had this before or kno wat could be wrong ??

It could be something that's going around or it could be cuffitis. You should probably give your doctor/consultant a phonecall and see what s/he has to say about it. If it's cuffitis it would be treated with basically the same drugs used for ulcerative colitis (because it's UC in the retained cuff).

Could you have a blockage?

Thanks i have spoke to my doctor, they have put me on antibiotics and guna have me in to have a look inside my pouch. thanks for reply :-)
